High performance, high compression motors are markedly hard on any starter motor in most applications. This is especially true for high compression motors without compression releases. Dave’s ’99 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide is equipped with auto-close compression releases, but the existing starter simply wore out with time. A Tech Cycle Performance Products’ 1.4kW Compact Starter will be installed to take the place of the existing one.

 

Here is the Tornado 1.4kW Compact Starter from Tech Cycle Performance Products. It generates 1.4 kilowatts of cranking power and is able to easily and reliably crank up virtually any Harley-Davidson style Big Twin motor.
