For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge II 4/2010

If you are an avid American Bagger reader, you might remember Charlie Combs’ 2008 Road Glide that we ran in the June ’09 issue. Buck wrote the original story, titled Charlie’s Road Glide, which should have been titled; For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. At the time, Buck couldn’t figure out how to properly convey the name of Charlie’s Bagger without upsetting some of our readers. The White Knuckle Performance crew is back with another magazine worthy Road Glide and we think we have the wording figured out.

This time the platform is a ’09 Road Glide owned by Greg Chambers. John Shields and the crew at White Knuckle gave the 96” Twin Cam motor a full makeover. A set of Screamin’ Eagle pistons and heads were installed, boosting the displacement to 103”. Feuling lifters with SE pushrods and JIMS rocker arms help boost the horsepower number to 112 and the torque to 119 ft.-lbs. An S&S air cleaner helps the bigger motor breath, while a Cary Faas Racing exhaust system expels the gases. White Knuckle Performance is known for building powerful motors without the flashy chrome.

Up front, is a 21” RC Components Nitro wheel wrapped with a Metzeler tire. Lyndall Racing Brakes rotors and brake pads improve front-wheel braking. Keeping up with the no-shiny-stuff theme, the front end has been powder coated black by Extreme Powder Coating. Klock Werks supplied the handlebars and front fender. The grips are from Performance Machine, mirrors are from Joker Machine, and Nu Image supplied the gauges. Holding down the front wheel at high speeds and keeping the bugs out of Greg’s teeth is a Klock Werks windshield. The seat was custom built by Guy’s Upholstery. The back wheel is also from RC Components and is an 18” Nitro with a Metzeler tire. Cleaning up the look of the stock rear end is a White Knuckle Performance license plate mount. Gary Crisp at Crisp Creations applied the Skullicious paint job.

I have a feeling that in the near future, we will be seeing For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge 3. My guess is that John and the crew at White Knuckle Performance are already working on a 2010 Road Glide for us to feature in American Bagger Magazine. You can count on John using the usual suspects in the next build, Crisp Creations, Extreme Powder Coating and Guy’s Upholstery. We will anxiously await their return.
