Smooth 7 12/2009

If you see “Pirates of the Caribbean” in the skulls and graphics, that was intentional. Gary Green made the choice to have ghost and knife graphics applied on Smooth 7, his ’07 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide. Fat Baggers, Inc. applied the design. Eastside Performance of Mesa, AZ performed the assembly work on Smooth 7.

After a complete overhaul, the ’07 Twin Cam motor now has a 10.5:1 compression ratio and uses Screamin’ Eagle cases and cylinders. The ignition came from S&S, as did the gear-drive cam set. The motor now displaces 103 cubic inches. A Vance & Hines Pro Pipe 2-into-1 exhaust system efficiently extracts the burnt stuff from the motor. A Power Commander ECU has been added for increased power and efficiency. Compression releases have been installed to make motor cranking easier on the stock starter. The transmission and drivetrain remain stock with the exception of S&S gears.
