Rob Hastings’ Blue Flamed Bagger 7/2009

 Whenever the opportunity arises, American Bagger magazine Publisher Dave Withrow braves

  the waves for the Hogs on the Seas Rally. It has become a personal mecca for him. While on board

  the cruise liner, Dave conducts a bike show, sort of. The motorcycles aren’t actually on board.

  The bike owners bring photographs of their motorcycle to be entered in the show. Dave then picks

  a winner from the photos. There is a People’s Choice award where the HOHS members pick a

  winner in the many, often spontaneous categories. For example, on the most recent HOHS

  Mexican Riviera cruise, Shawn Eissler entered a photo of a horse. It won something, even despite

  its lack of chrome.
